Let’s Talk Bookish: Weekly Wrap up #3

I’m linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hello guys! I Hope you had a great week.

After the Holidays I’ve had no time at all to read. I’m working as an English teacher at a school for now, and so my time has been severely reduced. Still, I am forcing myself to read as much as possible in my free time. I wake up too early though (too early for me) and so I am too sleepy to read most of the time. I set my 2019 Reading Challenge to 52 books so I will try and read one or two books a week to keep up. I haven’t been writing much either, mostly because I have lost inspiration. To force myself to read and write, I am thinking of a schedule that will keep me on track.

Books I’m currently reading:

  1. I’ve heard so many good things about Ness and The Knife of Never Letting Go. I need to read it soon. And good luck with the reading and writing stuff- it’s always so hard to find enough time seems like!

Ooh The Cheerleaders! I liked that one.

  2. I loved Sadie and I would love to get my mitts on some Freddie Mercury books he was amazing. Just amazing. Have a wonderful week and enjoy the new reads. I just got The Wicked King too, I can’t wait to read it! I hope things getting better with the job and you find some more time to read and write sometimes it’s just getting used to a new schedule. Good Luck!

    1. I’m glad you liked Sadie! I will read it soon. Freddie was amazing wasn’t he? He is my favorite person ever. Let me know what you think of The Wicked King after you read it. Thank you for your wishes and thanks for stopping by!

  3. I have The Wicked Prince and need to read it. I haven’t read any Holly Black books for a couple years and this new series of hers sounds good. I don’t read very much YA these days, but there are such good sounding books like The Wicked Prince and The Knife of Never Letting Go. I’m going to try a few of the fantasy and scifi YA this year.

I hope you start getting more sleep and more time for reading and writing.

    1. I enjoyed The Cruel Prince, let me know your thoughts if you ever read it. The Knife of Never Letting Go is good so far, but it’s taking forever for me to read it. Thanks for the wishes and thanks for stopping by! Have a great week.

  4. I’m sorry it’s such a rough schedule now they changed things for you. I haven’t read any of these books although I have seen some of them a lot on other blogs. I’m so glad you are taking a bit of time for yourself to read and relax. When I worked long days, I listened to audiobooks over lunch to help me have a few moments to myself. I hope your routine settles and you feel less tired.
